Still working...

To be quite honest the holidays have strapped me for time and it has been busier than usual around work so I haven't had a lot of time to work on Mercury. Currently I'm working to add meeting support to Mercury as that seems to be something very important to all of you (and me actually). I am also exploring some of the other great suggestions I received (check the comments if you want to know more about what people have suggested).

I'd also like to make a request to the users out there. When Mercury generates a crash log when you are doing a particular task please copy the text that comes up and e-mail it to mercury@idavidson.net. If you would include a short description of what you were doing when it generated the report and hopefully I can iron out your problems fairly quickly for the next release. Thanks for all of the feedback, hopefully it will continue.

can you modify the MIME type for .dmg files from text/plain to application/octet-stream ? It'll prevent Gecko users from displaying the file and prompt them to download it instead.

I *love* this tool! It does everything I hoped it would. Lemme know if you want shareware donations...

Two requests, neither of which is a "big deal".
1) can we have a choice to make the new message sound louder/softer/etc? Sometimes the bouncing dock is not enough...
2) Can you display the message that Sametime allows when you first click on a person? "away" can be "back in five minutes" or "back in an hour"....

Please don't take the above as "never satisfied" -- I *love* this tool!

I suspect that, like a lot of potential users, I'm a solitary mac user alone in a sea of windoze boxes. We use a lot of sametime meetings for desktop sharing on our internal network in the same way that people use webex for public web conferences.

The java Sametime connect 3.1 client doesn't seem to support desktop sharing (does this feature assume NetMeeting?) on Mac OSX (I'm using 10.3.1). I'm looking for a way of joining these conferences that doesn't rely on firing up VPC. I'd gladly pay a shareware fee or/and help with development of this feature.

I'm a registered Notes developer. Let me know how I can help.

Great Tool. Ever thought about making it an addin to Fire? I was wondering, since I wouldn't have to have two IM clients that way. Thanks
